Terms of Use
Who is who
How to read this text
There is no legal jargon here wherever it can be avoided. “We” is the author of the app, one person. “You” is whoever uses it.
Words you will meet below
Here is what they mean:
Author — the individual who made WorkClient and answers for it. Not a company and not a registered business: one person.
Law — Russian.
We — this is what the author of WorkClient is called in this text.
Device — the computer, phone or tablet you open the app, the site or the client page from.
Service — the macOS app, the site and the client page.
Terms of Use “Terms” is this text. By using the app, the site or the client page you agree to it. It was written by the author, not by a generator.
Third-party services — other people’s services WorkClient cannot work without: Telegram signs you in, Supabase keeps the cloud part, the model provider handles the day’s review.
Site — this address right here, and the client page lives at portal.uxcode.agency: https://workclient.app/
You — the person who opened the app, the site or the client page.
Agreement
These are the terms for using the WorkClient app, the site and the client page. They hold between you and the author.
The terms apply to everyone: to whoever installed the app and to the client who opened a link to the client page.
If you use it, you agree. If something here doesn’t suit you, don’t use it.
You have to be 18 to use it.
The privacy policy holds alongside these terms: it says in detail what the app reads, what stays on your computer and what leaves it. Read it too — it is short and honest.
Links to other sites
The app and the site have links to other people’s sites and services — we neither own them nor control them.
We don’t answer for what is written there or for what happens to your data there: those are separate companies with their own rules.
Before you leave anything there, read their rules.
Ending access
We can close access to the cloud part — sync, the client page, calls — if it is used to harm others or to break the service.
The app itself stays with you and keeps working: your data sits on your computer, not with us.
Liability
The app is free right now: we take no money, so there is nothing to make good. If it ever becomes paid, liability will be limited to the amount you paid.
We don’t answer for lost profit, lost data or time out of work. Keep backups: the app can export everything it holds.
If the law does not allow some of these limits, then what the law allows is what holds.
As is
The app is given to you as it is. It is in open development: it has bugs, and some things in it change or disappear over time.
We don’t promise it will suit you, that it will run without interruptions or that it will match what you expect. We do promise to fix what we hear about.
If the law does not allow such disclaimers, they do not hold.
Which law applies
Russian law. The laws of the country you are in may also apply.
If there is a dispute
Write to us on Telegram first — almost everything is settled by talking.
If you are in another country
The mandatory rules of the country you live in hold for you in any case — this text does not cancel them.
Country restrictions
By using the app you confirm that sanctions do not bar you from using services like this one.
If part of this text turns out to be invalid
The invalid part
If some clause cannot be applied under the law, it is read as close to its meaning as the law allows. The rest keeps working.
Silence is not consent
If we did not ask for something under these terms once, it does not mean we gave up the right to ask for it later.
Language
The main text is Russian. If a translation appears and differs from the Russian, the Russian one is the right one.
Changes
The terms can change. We will give notice of material changes on the site at least thirty days before they take effect.
If you keep using it after a change, you agree to the new version. If you don’t agree, stop using the service.
